In a village deep in Transylvania, a gypsy boy of the Onion clan and his Romanian friend decide to flee to the big city to become actors. For them, it's a chance to make some easy money and to help the Onion clan's older brother to amass a dowry so he can marry the daughter of the rich Garlic clan.
